A key member of our Brand & Creative team, you will develop campaigns and creative executions across all channels to build the DXL brand voice. You will partner with key members throughout the company to complete all written communication ensuring consistency of messaging and cohesion between copy and imagery.

Using your creative flair you'll communicate and reinforce brand strategies for a variety of platforms, including print, online, social media, broadcast, and more! Here are some of the ways you will help support DXL's mission:

  • Partner with key team members to implement effective, on-brand campaigns and strategies
  • Write targeted, brand-specific copy in a variety of direct-to-consumer formats including catalog, web, in-store, promotional collateral
  • Contribute fresh ideas in a variety of strategy and conceptual meetings
  • Create compelling, on-brand web copy for home pages, product descriptions, emails
  • Proofread a variety of material for consistency, accuracy, and cohesiveness
  • Assist in Establishing copy guidelines
  • Collaborate with creative partners and merchandisers to explore fresh approaches in enhancing the company image and driving sales.
  • Write compelling copy and campaigns; review and edit all written communication throughout the organization for grammar, accuracy, brand integrity, legal integrity, etc.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A BA/BS degee in English/Journalism required or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years agency or in-house experience required; fashion and retail experience preferred
  • Experience in writing web-based copy and familiarity with website structure and terminology helpful
  • Knowledge of a Mac-based platform in Microsoft Word, Excel; knowledge of Catalog Studio
    a plus
